I liked the bib of chri_stine’s “Wendy Dress”, so I decided to make something similar. It took a very long time to finish it, because I had no idea how the rest of the dress should look like and I had no pattern, that’s why I had to do lots of changes (add darts at the front and the back, what kind of sleaves, lining, etc.).
At least I think it looks a little bit “retro” (the fabric could be from the 70’s and it’s a bit rough-textured, it lay in my mothers fabric-closet (she has a lots of fabrics she can’t use anymore, she got the most of it from our neighbour Mathilda once, that’s why the name ;-) ) for many years), but I like it that way.
Wool-mix (for dress and bib), zipper, buttons, lining
chri_stine’s Wendy dress
My mother for the fabric :-)

i love it… i particularly like that you have used an opaque material for the bib… i have a similar one which i bought and it has a tipe of organza and although it is lovely and it looks retro, i always have to be careful what i wear underneath… with yours you will always look great…. lovely.
