This variation is cool enough for anyone to try— whether expecting a child or not! Chie wears this dress before and after her pregnancy, as the savvy design makes for feeding her sweet little child a breeze.
This pattern variation is based on our Heidi dress— a fabulously easy dress that is a great basic shape with some nice design details and a beautiful neckline. 38 BurdaStyle members have uploaded photos their Heidi variations, have you made one?
Material Notes
For the top: Lightweight cotton, wool, blends; For the skirt: Stretch fabrics with little drape. 2 1/2 yards (2m 20cm) SELF.

This is really cute! Is the side zipper for nursing? I’m in search of nursing tops and this would work if it had a zipper on both sides. Saeriu

yes! the side zippers are for nursing. i installed it on both sides, so it is easy to feed the baby:)
