I loove ruffles and so I decided to make a ruffle maternity skirt based on a pencil skirt kind of format.
You can get direction on my blog, for free.
About 1 yard for main fabric and about 1/2 yard for contrasting ruffles and maternity belly band in different fabric. I used stretchy materials. The main skirt is stretchy denim and the ruffles / belly band I used knit jersey.
