Cotton gabardine with widthwise stretch, fabric width: 140 cm (55 ins), length:
Size 36 – 40: 1.10 m (1 1/4 yds)
Size 42 – 44: 1.40 m (1 5/8 yds)
Stretch jersey, 150 cm (59 ins) wide, for the waistband: 0.85 m (1 yd) for all sizes.

I’m making these but the waistband is absolutely massive and doesn’t look anything like the photo. The pattern for the waistband looks wrong (the sides don’t match for a start). I followed the pattern from the magazine, not the website. Anyone else had this problem or did I do something wrong when I traced it? As of now I’m thinking of taking a massive 8cm on each side of the front bit and add an elastic band at the top as I am not carrying octuplets!
The legs are great though, and were very easy to make :)
