Description

This is another project from Simplicity 2362, this time in the maxi length with the thicker straps. I used a really fun border print knit by Maggy London that I got from FabricMartFabrics.com. Love their site. This dress is so comfortable, and definitely has a little room to grow, so it should take me through the rest of the summer.

I did not attempt to match the print, although it came out so close on the back that now I wish I had. Instead it just looks like I tried to match, but badly. Oh well, only a fellow seamstress would notice.

My bump has had quite the growth spurt the past 2 weeks or so, and I’m desperately hoping it does not continue to grow at quite this rate. I’m only just under 24 weeks pregnant, and could easily pass for 30! I’m looking forward to regaining my 26 inch waistline next year!

Aw, your lovely dress makes me miss my bump (she’s 2.5 months old, now)! If we have another baby, I’ll have to make a maxi like yours.
