Made this Marie variation into a maternity-ish skirt. Instead of a normal waistband, I used some super-stretchy knit fabric for the waist. I made it the same size as the waistband would have been and sewed it on the same was as the waistband, except without a closure and I sewed the stretchy knit fabric together at the ends first (to make a circle). Easy to pull on and off the bump and, in the future, on and off the waist.

Random woven material, french seams, random 4-way stretch knit.
