In Germany all pregnant women receive at their first or second doctor’s appointment a small little booklet, called Mutterpass. It contains a complete medical history of the woman related to the pregnancy and all medical examinations and test results before and after the birth are recorded in it.
It`s a really important tool prenatal care but unfortunately it does not look very nice.
Now that my best friend Sarah is pregnant my first (but definitely not last) present for her is a nice cover for her “Mutterpass”. On the inside it has another two pockets: One for her vaccination record card and another one with a transparent plastic sheet for the ultrasonic pictures of the baby.
I think it came out really nice and I hope she will like it :-)
