Made this matching set for the bub’s birthday. I think the matchiness was lost on her though…obviously!
I drafted the dress pattern from an existing dress, adding 1cm all around for ‘growth’ (not that it worked very well, but I was too lazy to grade up properly). Added a little ruffle on the neck, and trim at the waist.
The doll pattern is from the lovely Alison Berry (here). It worked wonderfully – no issues at all. I’m especially proud of the shoes – they took the longest time to make.

Quilting cotton for both garments. Some silky blend and polyester fill for the doll.
