I made this dress for a masqurade Birthday party in London. I was so excited to be going I looked through my many fashion magazines and style books and found inspiration for this from a dress similar which was in red. I used a pattern for just the bodise and worked out the skirt by wrapping it around and me. The diamond details on the shoulders and the buckle were found in my sewing boxes of treasueres I’ve had for years. I keep hold of anything you never know when it will come in handy. I got lots of compliments for the dress and told I must do it a business. I working on that slowly but surley.
