Description

The wonderful Maryy dress in a floral cotton voile from Spotlight (lined with light purple muslin – it was a bit see through :D ). It was so great to get some sewing in now I’m on uni holidays :D

This was a very nice pattern to work with! The sizing is great and it came together pretty easily. I even sewed the invisible zipper in perfectly first try (a first for me!). The only problem was with the placket, which was a little too thick to sew button holes through. Instead I sewed the buttons onto the back and did the button holes on the strap ends.

    this is so cute, I’m really looking for liberty fabrics for this summer (btw this color suits you perfectly) and this one is really pretty, I love what you’ve done with it !
