I started by measuring the tush and the hip and put in 8 cm of range of motion. Then I measured how long I wanted the skirt, almost above the knees. I removed about 5 cm at the front so that the skirt was a little higher in the rear. Then I measured out the rib and divided it evenly along the waistband.
The fabric is actually my old curtains that I had in my room when I was little girl.
