Description

The Mary Maxim catalogues have these shawl pins to use as closurers for a loose knit sweater. This wrap is just a knit rectangle. I made the pin using a chop stick and plastic polymer clay (the stuff you bake in the oven-comes in hundreds of colours).

I like how there are several ways of wearing it. On the shoulder, under the shoulder, create a collar, in the middle, twisted, higher up on the neck….just move the pin.

Love the wrap and the closure. So elegant and fashion forward in their simplicity.
