A coworker commissioned a pair of baby booties for a niece she is expecting, so I made these in size 0-3 months. They were originally going to be ornamented with a crocheted purple disc, but as I was playing with the yarn at work, I had an epiphany: I had a 5/8" yo yo maker and tons of cotton fabric to produce a much better result. Further inspiration led to my remembering that I had some extra freshwater pearls. I really like the way these turned out so much so that I now want to create an army of baby booties!
