Description
My homemade wedding dress. I’m so thankful my husband encouraged me to start sewing. He was so proud when he saw my dress.
The pattern is Butterick 5325. I modified the embellishment on the front and swapped covered buttons for crystals on the back. I never made a muslin and kind of winged it. It would be a good pattern for new sewers who would like to make their own formal lace dress.
Material Notes
Scalloped lace over crepe back satin. (If you are a beginner sewer lace may seem intimidating but it covers mistakes well!)
