haven’t sewn (aside from alterations which are a continuous part of the petite person life) for way too long…needed something gratifying to get me going again. The nephews love Paddington and about a year ago I spotted clareh’s Paddingtons here on BurdaStyle http://www.burdastyle.com/projects/paddington-tm-bear….and did a quick search on ebay there and then and there it was the original 1977 pattern $5. Snapped it quicker than you could say marmalade sandwich…..well the fur, fleece etc has been sitting in the stash for over a year….perfect for a get back to sewing project ….and needed to do quick as eldest nephew growing up fast….these were my first bears and they were super fun to put together.

yeah original pattern called for felt for the jackets. i used fleece (pretty sure fleece want around in 1977) I think it gives their jackets a little something extra :)
