Description

Here I am with my first ever pants.
I decided to move to the next level and tackle sewing pants. Well, it wasn’t so hard as I thought, but still it took me some time to figure out the correct way to insert zipper and inside pockets. I am quite satisfied with the result although it’s not the style I normally wear.

    You say this isn’t the style you normally wear, but it certainly is a style that suits you ! You look very elegant and stylish, and “Marlene” would be proud of your legs ! I loved those pants the minute I saw them in the magazine, but haven’t been as brave as you yet. If I thought I could do as good a job as you, I’d give it a go straight away :-))

      Dear chula123, thank you very much, I started sewing from September of this year, and those are my first pants. I am sure for 200 % that if you decide to make pants, you will do better job.
      In Burda 9/2011 there is step by step instruction for sewing pants, it helped me a lot.

    Good for you for overcoming your first try! I love the whole look. Especially the coat. It has the most beautiful shade of rasberry pink (at least on the photos).

      You are right, the coat has a very special colour. I have been using it for 4 years and it shows the first signs of wear. Hope to improve my sewing skills very quickly and make the copy of it for the next season.

    I love these trousers on you- so stylish. I’m really inspired to make a pair but I have quite short legs so they won’t look great like they do on you.
