What kind of fabric is that and where did you get it? I love it.

Wow, that’s a really nice jacket. I love it.

The jacket looks absolutely fabulous. It looks both chic and … tough, in an odd kind of way. I like it. The choice of fabric is gorgeous.

Oh, I just love this jacket and material! Your video on lining a jacket was incredibly helfpul. It’s one thing to read about it and quite another to watch how to do it. Thank you, thank you.

I’m getting ready to sew up my own Steffi jacket and just wanted a clarification on the seam allowance. The pattern pieces say 5/8" and the instructions say 1/2". I realize that I could be fine choosing either, but what would you recommend? Thanks!

Thank you, I must admit, I got some help with the button holes, I am not very good with them, so I went to a store in the garment district here in New York. However, my machine (a very old Privileg, will get a new one soon hopefully) hast got that function, but since this jacket was part of marketing at DLD (check out www.video.dld-conference.com Monday, 3 pm), I decided it has to look perfect.

I like how it turned out. Especially impressed by the buttonholes. Are they made on a special buttonhole machine or on household one? If on a household machine, on which one?

Looks fab! And I love the Burdastyle tag, too! Is that a woven label or is it an iron-on to a ribbon (like my lofi labels!)?

Thanks! I think it suits her well! Will remember next time we need some models:)

Wauw! Love the collar and choice of fabric…She looks great in it too. Hey, if you give me one too, I’ll model it for Burdastyle.com as well ;-)
