Marine Style Loose Top

Added May 11, 2014

by Kanaru

Yokohama, Japan

A loose top made with ivory and navy striped knit.
The seam of the top part comes at the back center and not the shoulders. This allows the V pattern to appear naturally when you use striped fabric.

I love the back style of this top!

Pattern from Japanese store Wildberry
Fabric from animo

Material Notes

Cotton knit

Thank you all for you lovely comments! The stripes worked out nicely without being too sensitive about how to cut out the pattern! I wish the pattern and material shops I use were available in English and for customers outside of Japan too :(

Love the stripe at the back, and the loose fit looks really comfy too.

Wow, I love this top! (I’m a sucker for stripes) So simple, elegant and very special. Now I wish the pattern came in English… (I love the look of all of the Wildberry patterns)
