Using a very simple skirt pattern (Oliver & S), my daughter sewed this skirt , except the ribbon.
Fabric by Marimekko, 2010, very thin cotton.

She used a machine designed for children (safe concerning “needle accidents”): JANOME Sewmini deluxe, not too expensive,about 100 euro, but very reliable.
