finally finished this!
it’s a safari, made of 2 different marimekko fabrics. the bottom one i’ve had for years, given to me by my mum-in-law, and the top one i bought last year on a summer sale for 8e/m ;)
i had been planning to combine these 2 fabrics somehow, and finally found the perfect pattern(s).
the bottom part is Tonia shorts pattern from here, and the top part is from Burda magazine (7/2007) join them at the waist.
i love all the blue+brown shades on both parts of the safari, eventhough they’re not exactly alike but it’s okay for me! the weirder the better, haha! :D
i also loooooove the collar, i can either wear it straight just like that, or wrinkle it up by pulling the drawstrings!
i’ll be wearing it a lot this summer ;)
2m of cotton (1m for the top part, 1m for the shorts), shorts zipper, snap-on buttons
