I got MANY Marimekko swatches at Finnish design fair in NY. They are all small (8″×8″) but big enough to make little things, so I decide to make those pouchs/cases by EveningStar’s How To so I can practice using zippers! It’s a great How To for begginers!
Marimekko Fabric, Zipper, Threads
Thanks EveningStar and Finnish design fair!

super jealous of both your talent to not only make a nice looking pouch but to incorporate a zipper too. and the marimekko fabric too, that’s a super smart idea.

They are cute! Much better looking than those travel makeup bags and washable, too! (The main reason why I get new ones and keep adding to the landfill problem. Luggage handlers are just too rough with my luggage.)

I have to practice zippers too. The patterns pouches are really cute. Especially the one that looks like a cow hide.
