An adaptation from the Jocelyn #6022 pattern from BurdaStyle to make the bodice, but the skirt was my own creation. I moved the zipper from the side to the back. This is my second dress, and like the first, was sewn without a sewing machine and only with half a pattern.
The material is bolt ends from a silk/cotton blend (I think) from India.
I am not certain where to put the roses, or if to put them on the dress at all. Suggestions? They are just pinned on at the moment.
zipper, hook and eye, silk/cotton blend, lining.
