Marie skirt: cocoon skirt. I made it quite a bit shorter and that was a challenge because I wanted to maintain the shape. Can I walk? Pshh, does it really matter? I say no. There’s some puckering around the hip area and the zipper… I’ll do better next time. Although you can’t really tell, the skirt is lined, which makes me proud. The top is pretty simple: two rectangles that taper at the ends and are connected by a braid. Oh, and I also made the necklace with some leftover leather. I feel really home-ecky now.
Cotton print for skirt; rayon jersey for top.

Now that is a pretty cool Marie! And the black top matches perfectly!
