I drafted this Top/Muslin from a picture I sourced through the net. Designer Marian Martin circa 1940’s. I’m pretty happy how it has turned out, now to make the intended top.
1 mtr Poplin scrap fabric
25cm open zipper
1/2 mtr lace for the bow

Love. This has given my some ideas! Thanks ;-) Making the top part sheer for example. I really like the waistline as well.

Very pretty! The front yoke is one piece with the back, so that it curves over the shoulders and ends up on a slight bias at the upper bust line where it joins with the front piece, is that right?

No, the yoke is a separate piece. I’m going to make the back yoke separate also, mainly because I want to vary the fabric. I did a bit of twigging to get right. You could do it the way you have described though!
Does this help or make sense??
