This is my version of the very simple Marie skirt which I love. The fabric used is a vintage calico print that I was given a ridiculous amount of and have already used to make a sundress, and hopefully others…
Lately I have been making this skirt quite often, usually spending an afternoon sewing and attaching pockets and lace, each time a bit more different. Soon I will be putting these on my Etsy shop since they are the perfect fall skirt!
This is a super easy pattern so I have been doing my best to infuse each version with different prints, trimmings, and buttons for different personalities. Last week I found a large bag of lace and bias tape from the 80’s and am currently having way too much fun using it!
