Self drafted dress, double jersey from Ditto Fabrics in Brighton. I has less fabric to work with than I originally thought, so a number of changes had to take place from the original sketch. I would have prefered it longer, 10cm would do the trick, but hey. Hopefully this lesson will teach me to check before I race on ahead of myself, or to make a pattern first, then go looking for fabric. Yeah, that’s NOT going to happen! :D there’s more blurb on the blog if you’d like to read more.
Double jersey.

It looks gorgeous! You did very well with such little fabric, and I think it turned out the perfect length!

Thanks Carolyn. I was silly enough to only get 1.5m originally, had to get another 70cm to finish it!

Lovely!!! Especially the neckline and the flower matching your type (blue eyes and red/blond hair) Ps.: I want this double jersey… wondering which fibre: polyesther, viscose???

Thanks Immi. I just had a quick look on Ditto’s site, and I can’t find the fabric, I think they might have sold out now! There are other double jerseys there, but they aren’t the same as this one. Sorry!

Thanks! There are some tweaks I am sure, but I am happy with it. As far as uploading – I wouldn’t know where to start! Do you pattern cut? I could show you how to make one for yourself…
