I knew it wouldn’t pay to sew a cape now since the warm days are coming to an end. What the hell, I did it anyway, and even managed to wear it for a few days! I’ve heard that something like that was trendy in 2010 – and once again – what the hell :P The fabric (wool with cashmere) was bought in one of the wholesales nearby Gogowska street in Pozna. There are dozens of them so there are many fabrics to choose from. The pattern is of my own.
I have to mention that I was inspired by the Lindsey pattern.

It’s beautiful. And very inspirational. I am vacationing in Portland, Ore. USA, and went on a tour of the Pendleton wool mill today. Bought 4 yards of wool fabric after the tour. Maybe I should think about sewing a cape…

I recently started drooling over the Lindsey pattern, just in time for the site’s shopping cart outage. I admire your skills in pattern making, as I tried to draft my own Lindsey to no avail. Anyway, beautiful job! I am green with envy :p!
