This little dress was made for my niece, Manone. This dress is a size 2t and made from all 100 percent cotton fabrics. I combined a turquoise check that I have had for over a year and a pastel dot fabric that I recently bought from fashionablefabrics.com, and a purple fabric with pink and turquoise dragonflys on it that was a shirt in a bag of clothes I got from freecycle.com. I made the bias tape around the edge of the apron and I made the little flower by gathering some of the scraps and covering a button sewn to the center. Elastic was inserted in the sleeves and neck edges. It is a pullover dress that ties in the back.
Portabellopixie “Claire” pattern. 100 percent cotton fabrics. Elastic, thread and 1 button to cover with fabric.

That is so wierd- you were the first one to comment on my items, and then I view this, which is the same exact pattern I just bought at the sewing expo! I can’t wait to make it… although I’m nervous about cutting out that expensive pattern and limiting the sizes I can make… making it for a friend’s little one since I don’t have any!
