Description

I was so-so lucky this weekend! I actually remembered that there was a 40% discount on remnants at one of my favourite shops. You buy remnants by the kilo there, and I think I got more than 5kg of material. This is the first thing I made from my wonderful new stash! It’s actually basically a copy of one of my favourite t-shirts, that I bought at Mango a couple of years ago. It’s almost falling apart now so I was delighted to find the perfect material to make a new one :-).

It has a draped-neck in the front and a small gather on the hips. I made the pattern by altering my Stripey-T-pattern to look more like the mango-top, it’s not perfect but worked pretty well…

remnants by the kilo! I need to move to Stockholm ;)
This is a great top – I love that one of the benefits being able to sew enables you to copy best loved clothes and give them a second life.
