This is a version of the Layla apron that I made for my husband’s stepfather for Christmas. He loved it and said it fits really well! My mother-in-law thought it was bought! The wording was made from T-shirt transfer paper ironed onto basic cream cotton lining and then stitched on appliqué-style.
Brown striped medium weight cotton. Lightweight strapping for the ties and neck band. T-shirt iron-on transfer paper. Old brown duvet cover which I cut into strips to make the bias around the armholes
Layla pattern.
My husband for printing the iron-on transfer and for all his encouragement!
