My sweetie was out of jeans, and I found a load of stretch denim for $2 a yard. We made the pattern ourselves following http://www.leenas.com/English/draw_men_pants.html but had to alter it extensively (the pattern initially had HUGE hips). But after many modifications, we got a perfect fit! I added a back yoke, front and back pockets, wide belt loops, double topstitching, and a lining from my “badass shirt” leftovers. This was a fun project (despite going through 3 rolls of topstitching thread!). My fiance helped a lot with the pattern drafting.
Denim, dungaree button, contrast topstitching thread (coats and clark worked better than gutterman)

Wow ! I’m making a pair of jeans right now and I also built a basic block with Leenas’ instructions! I admire your precision in sewing those jeans! You are encouraging me to finish mine.
