I made this for my lovely friend for a christmas gift. It was a very easy pattern to follow, all I did was shorten it a bit.
I have never worked with jersey material before, and I am so glad that I have a serger because I would have never been able to make this with my regular sewing machine! I also learned about the twin-needle, which is amazing!

That looks great! I’d love to sew with jersey, but like you said, not without a serger.

Thanks. The twin needle really works miracles and you can sew the whole thing with it probably, you’ll just use twice the amount of thread. I actually found out at the end of my project that my serger doesn’t do hems (except blind hems, which I didn’t want), so I found this website which was really helpful: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g5YWEmNO4f4
good luck!
