Burda Style For people who sew
Description
i call this a malissa, but it’s really not. i was trying to make the dress that andie wears in the devil wears prada. i think it turned out well for what it is. i just used an old bedsheet because i wanted to see if i could make the dress before i tried it on a good fabric. in the picture where the belt is on me, i have it tied in the bow tie fashion (and it took me about 15 minutes to figure out how to do that!). =] i can’t wait to do this again for real. although next time i’ll make the top smaller so it covers my bra.
