I had a little less than 3 yard of 45" sheer woven print fabric that I thought would look nice in this pattern. I made size 40, which is my Burda size; since this pattern was designed for knits, I added extra width. Instead of placing the pattern front on the fold, I cut two of this piece. I then took a ready made sheer woven solid color scarf, and used it to join the two front panels. The end of the scarf was used like a very wide bias binding to replace the collar that comes with the original pattern. The cuffs of the sleeves were omitted; instead, I made a rolled hem at the wrists. I made a self belt to define the waist.
