Burda Style For people who sew
Description
I had a Charlotte Rouse and a Gap shirt that no longer fit my ever expanding waist, so I decided to make my daughter a dress. I had no pattern, it was pretty easy. I’m not happy with how it turned out, but since it is the first garment I have sewn….I’m cutting myself a break.

how cuuuute!!!! please teach me how you did it, i’ve never sewn in my life and i am very much scared, i don’t know where to begin. i look at my sewing machine and i run…….literally. i’m the biggest chicken you can find.

Cut yourself that break, definitely. It’s really cute and I can see how much your daughter loves it. Great to let the garments live again in another form. What a start!
