I’ve been needing something long-sleeved and simple in my wardrobe. I’ve had this double-knit it my stash and figured it would be perfect. I used McCalls 4600 and omitted the zipper in the back (seriously, why do they put zippers on knits??). I forgot to take away the allowance for the zipper, though, so the back is a little bit roomy, but still fits ok!
I used French seams for the shoulders and attaching the sleeves. I also attached the sleeves before I sewed the sides which was a really quick and easy way of doing it. I don’t have a double needle, so I sewed the cuffs and hem twice around.
Double-knit I found for a few dollars at thrift store
