Description

[From David, our Community Manager] – I found a military jacket from the thrift store. It had a great fit and looked rarely worn, but it was a bit too bland for my taste. I decided to give it a bit of DIY-love, using a few awesome tools from Dritz. I absolutely loved using their easy Covered Button Kit, Cover Button Templates and Mark B-Gone pen, and used them for this project.

I have a huge collection of buttons, and am anxious to put them to good use. I used some of them on this jacket to create a button heart, and made a few new buttons with the Dritz supplies.

This is a great scrap-buster project, and an awesome way to use old buttons lying around. The instructions for making the fabric covered button can also be found in our Learning section.

definitely a big, great heart you have ;))) Especially love the combination with the military jacket…It always makes me shiver when I see camouflage-design so this here is the complete opposite.
