I was trying to copy a dress that I bought from friends of couture. It looked really simple, but I rushed it, and got to a point where I realised that there was not enough fabric for a dress – so I turned it into a skirt.
I embellished the pocket panels with a hankie on one side, and a flower applique that I cut out from a gorgeous vintage tablecloth.
