While driving along the rocky coast of Maine on our way to Bar Harbor during June 2011, my husband and I stopped at a fabric shop called “Sewing by the Sea.” As we looked through the variety of materials available there, we immediately fell in love on this fabric that then conveyed and continues to bring back to us fantastic memories about the natural beauty that is Maine.
In constructing this “Maine Shirt,” I used the same pattern as when I made the Red Infinity Shirt . The only major difference between the two, besides fabric, is that this shirt has short rather than long sleeves.
Plan a weekend getaway in these sweater dresses and furry accessories.
