Burda Style For people who sew
Description
There are several types of kimono’s. For men, for women, seasonal, for kids, funeral, wedding, casual, offical, etc. I’ve made three maiko kimono with matching obi, because I wanted to ^^

I’ve made an maiko obi, about 6 mtr long and 33 cm wide.

Oh, the wig? I’ve made it all by myself. Bought five wigs, all black. Stripped four and sewn the hairpieces into the fifth. With a lot of hairglue I’ve shaped the hair. The kanzashi, hair ornaments, are also based on the website of kurokami-kanzashi. Tutorials are copy-right free, but it’s polite not to steal.
