I wanted something special to perch on while selling my fantasy costume items while dressed up in my fairy finest. This may be the closest I’ve ever had a final project come to the original concept sketch! It’s extra sturdy with galvanized steel pipes for the mushroom and flower stems and hardwood discs for the chair base and seat. I love how the upholstery fabric that I used to cover the cushion with formed little pleats on the underside that look just like the gills on a mushroom! This was such a fun project and I’m hoping to offer chairs like it in my etsy store as well as at my festival merchant booth.
plush upholstery fabric, outdoor carpet, polyfill, silk flower, tafetta ribbon, floral tape, galvanized steel pipe, floor flanges, hard wood circles, staples, machine screws, moss cloth

I love the detail you put into this; the grass at the bottom and the moss. It is the perfect perch for a crafty fairy. Love it!
