Madras Plaid 'N Eyelet Pencil Skirt

Added Jul 9, 2008

by eeeeeeeeeeeeekk

Redmond, Washing...

THE lightest weight cotton madras plaid with an embroidered eyelet scalloped hem. I lined the skirt with stretch silk charmeuse (my favorite lining of choice) edged with vintage lace (another textile vice of mine…) and face the waistline with teal dupioni. I used a full two-way side zip. I draped and darted the skirt on myself.

Material Notes

cotton, silk, lace, zipper, frog

It’s a beautiful skirt, and it must be fabulous having such luxe fabrics against your skin.
