I love gold… I love ANYTHING gold. The Spring/Summer runway shows had metallics everywhere. So when I found this gold fabric, not making shorts was out of the question.
I made the pattern from a pair of shorts I already had. Learn how on my blog STUDS AND BUTTONHOLES
Now… if I can get heavy on you.
Because I think this sewing community is creative and amazing… Honestly.
I feel that I don’t really get to interact with everyone as much as I would like too. But I LOVE always seeing the same people post things. It’s such a great asset to have. I can honestly say that without this website I would never have purchased/started sewing in the first place.
That said, I had to go through a bit of discrimination wearing these with my boyfriend this weekend. You can read the story at the bottom of the blog post or the full story here on my Facebook
I sew because it makes me happy and its a form of creative expression. If you do too you’ll understand how hurtful it is to be discriminated against for it.
Peace love and wear whatever the hell you want…. I always do :)
