Burda Style For people who sew
Description
I made this in 2002, from the original Burda 3197 pattern. I simply cut a few inches off the sleeve. I also used a narrow binding on the neckline instead of the facing. On this version I also added a side bust dart (probably unnecessary), and I shortened the bodice length at the hem because shorter tops were in style at the time.
Material Notes
Rayon knit fabric. This fabric was pretty but unfortunately it was of very poor quality so the shirt didn’t last very long.
