I made the lydia shirt with sloped V neck from a Knit-like fabric with Missoni imitation print. I also made a straight black skirt from cheap polyester as a sewing project for my home-sewing classes. The pattern for the skirt was drawn from scratch.
The shirt is a bit too “loud” for the office I work in, but is a good practice for many more to follow in more subdued colors and materials. Will definitely wear it around the house and in weekends.
Cheap polyester trevira for the skirt (market find) $2/yard
Polyester knit-like fabric with missoni imitation print (another market find) $3/yard
Pattern of the Week
The oversized shape has a cool bell shaped silhouette with a wide body and fitted sleeves
