At the moment I have this ugly little lunch bag. Its red and says “Chrisco” on it. Not the oil brand but the Christmas hamper company.
So I thought it was about time to have something prettier cause I was getting some strange looks for carrying a Christmas themed bag in the middle of July.
For this bag I drew straight onto the fabric with a ruler and chalk to make a net and then sewed it all up. I used a teal coloured zipper so it contrasts a little and made a handle too. I had to hand sew the zipper in cause my machine is incapable of sewing at a strange angle
On the inside it’s plain black cotton and in between is some wadding to keep things cool. I also put some cardboard in between all the fabric in the bottom. But first I wrapped it in cling film so that if there’s any leakages the cardboard wont go mushy and stinky
The outside cotton is a kind of twill from Ikea and the inside is plain black cotton
