Description

I called this the Lugosi Jacket after someone walked past my market stall and said my clothes look like Vampire wear. I took it as a compliment considering I love Dracula films and HBO’s True Blood is pretty cool (not so much the latest season).

I used the same pattern as…

but made the scarf a hood with leather tassels.

Its made from coated black denim, organic cotton jersey sleeves and wool for hood.

    LOVE IT!!! Nice trick with the stretch sleeves. I warn you… I will pinch that idea one day. Loving the angles on the front. Are there similar on the back? I can’t tell with my monitor. Thanks agian for yet another inspiring piece of mens wear.

    a really great jacket! Chapeau!!! (is it really Lugosi-Style? I dont know because I also know a little about Vampires but I was able to meet “a former Vampire” Ferdy Mayne 1986/1987 at work.)

    Vampire’s are always the stylish ones! I like the mix of textures and silhouettes on this. very cool.

      Vampires seemed to have style sorted. Zombies just don’t cut it really. although True Blood werewolves are pretty cool.

    considering, that german burdastyle just told me, that men do not sew and that is why they do not make any more men’s pattern in their issues, i have to tell you, that i LOVE YOUR STYLE AND CLOTHE!!! and i wish, we would be more, to show them, how wrong they are!!! GREAT jacket again!!!

      they (women from "leserservice bei burda!) have told me, that they are not interested in getting any pattern for men. as there is no “interest” and no “request” for mens pattern! i asked the to chech out, what is going on here at burdastyle.com. but she answered, that this is a complet different thing, as it is the international side and more orientated towards the US market. and burda is producing for germany………..????
