After doing a few of these outfits for myself and one for a friend, my husband asked me to do one of those “ensembels” for him too. so i grabed a really lovely woll in dark green with very fine black herringbone and to complet my material list, i added a lightgreen / rose changeant silk for the lining (both the waistcoat and the trousers are fully lined, as the wool material looks great but is a little scratchy) and some really lovely old vintage gold buttons……
after about 2 weeks and a few fittings, this is what came out of it. as i added a vintage helmut lang shirt and a vintage silk tie i really loved, what came out of this work and so did my husband!
i do think, that now it is time to go on and start something new, and i am working on womenswear for the moment. stay tuned for pictures soon :-)
