Description

i got the idea for this shirt when i was watching an episode of “i love lucy.” lucille ball was wearing a shirt with a v-shaped yoke section just like this one and i thought it looked really cool, so i decided to try it out. i altered the lydia pattern.

sadly, when i tried on the shirt, to make sure it all looked right, i couldn’t get it off because the arms are too tight on me (the fabric is not stretchy) and i couldn’t move in it. my parents were gone for the day, so i had to call a friend to come over and help me get the shirt off. it was pretty funny, but i’m sad that it doesn’t fit because i love the way it turned out.

my lydia pattern is cut to a size 36, so if anyone is smaller than that and would like this shirt, feel free to message me and maybe we can work something out.

Material Notes

striped corduroy, teal satin crepe (?)

The story is really funny, but it’s sad that you can’t wear it! (Well actually you could, but you must be sure that a person is with you when you want to put it off :D) Because it looks really great! I like the combination of the two fabrics! Maybe you could put a zipper in?
