I think this might be one of my favorite dresses. The special detail is the bias-cut midriff. I love the way it makes the dress look like such and hourglass shape.

i so love this gurl!!! i love geometrically inclined dresses…. been doing deco-art designs..but more on circular and curvede shapes…i so love this..it’s sophisticated, simple, yet fab!!! two thumbs up for this one.

This would become my favourite dress too if it was mine. It is one of the most elegant dresses I have seen on this site and also very practical for many ocassions. You have the busiest hands in the sewing world I think!!!!

The polyester blend I used was actually quite heavy, so I left it unlined.
